Menu & price mid-rush
Item and price come from Toast, not a frozen FAQ.
DeskWiz is the front desk for WhatsApp and phone. Hook up Toast and it answers with live menu, hours, and order status, in your restaurant's voice. Not last week's FAQ.
Read-only Toast connection. Your POS stays in charge. Nothing to migrate.

Menu · hours · order status
Price and dish name come from your Toast menu when they ask.
For restaurants on Toast that still answer guests on WhatsApp and the phone.
Guests text and call with the same questions you already answered last night. Mid-service, every reply means leaving the line or letting the thread go cold.
You're plating, expo is stacked, and someone wants to know if the special is still on. Voicemail takes it.
Guests text after they leave. Looking it up means walking off the line to the POS. Every time.
You 86 a dish or shift hours, and the old FAQ still says the wrong thing. A wrong price feels worse than no reply.
Connect once. When a guest messages or calls, DeskWiz grabs what it needs from Toast and answers the way your place would.
Someone asks what's on, how much the burger is, or if you have a vegan option. DeskWiz checks Toast and answers from what's listed right now.
Holiday hours, prep times, phone, address: the same facts your POS already has. Better than a knowledge page that goes stale.
DeskWiz finds the order by phone, check number, or name. Prep, ready, out for delivery, paid. Same thread they already wrote you on.
Same threads you get every night. With Toast connected, DeskWiz has the facts without you leaving service.

Toast stays put. WhatsApp stays yours. DeskWiz answers when you can't.
Paste Standard API credentials from Toast Web: Client ID, secret, restaurant GUID. Read-only scopes for menus, orders, and restaurant info.
Same DeskWiz setup as everyone else: your WhatsApp Business number and a line guests can call.
Menu, hours, where's my food. DeskWiz answers in your voice and pulls live Toast data when it needs a fact from the POS.
A nightly note: what came in, what got answered, and anything that still needs you.
Neighborhood spots, cafés, independents, multi-unit groups on Toast: thin floor, guest messages still hitting someone's personal phone.
DeskWiz uses Toast Standard API access to look up menus, restaurant info, and orders. Credentials stay on your account. We never place or change orders through this connection.
The questions people ask before they plug a POS into anything new.
No. The connection is read-only. It looks up menu, restaurant info, and order status. It does not place orders, void checks, or edit the menu.
Standard API access on Restaurant Management Suite Essentials or higher. Create credentials in Toast Web under Integrations → Toast API access. You'll want scopes like menus:read, orders:read, restaurants:read, and guest.pi:read so orders can match by phone.
No. DeskWiz replies in your restaurant's voice: warm, plain, brief. Guests hear your front desk, not a script that announces itself.
Policies and house rules come from your knowledge base. If something is unclear, it flags you instead of guessing.
No. Restaurants, cafés, fast casual, bakeries with pickup: any Toast spot that gets menu, hours, and order questions on WhatsApp or phone.
Most places are live within a day. Connecting Toast is a few fields once the API credentials exist. We walk the rest with you.
Create your account, connect Toast, and answer WhatsApp and phone from the same menu your kitchen already runs.
Create your account$80 a month flat for DeskWiz. Toast credentials from your own Toast Web account. No migration.
